Email Settings for cPanel

In cPanel click Email Accounts > More > Configure Email Client to view your account email settings.

Secure SSL/TLS Email Settings:

Username: user@your-domain-name.com
Password: Use the email account’s password.

Incoming Server: host.ehostsolution.net
IMAP Port: 993
POP3 Port: 995

Use the following type of encrypted connection: SSL

Outgoing Server: host.ehostsolution.net
SMTP Port: 465

Use the following type of encrypted connection: SSL

Authentication is required for IMAP, POP3, and SMTP.


Non-SSL Email Settings:

Username: user@your-domain-name.com
Password: Use the email account’s password.

Incoming Server: mail.your-domain-name.com
IMAP Port: 143
POP3 Port: 110

Outgoing Server: mail.your-domain-name.com
SMTP Port: 26

Authentication is required for IMAP, POP3, and SMTP.


Notes:

  • IMAP reads your email on the server; it does not save email on your computer. Messages that you read, delete, or reply to will show up as such on the server and your email applications.
  • POP3 downloads email to your computer. Messages that your mail application marks as read, deleted, or replied to will not show up as such on the server.
  • Both IMAP and POP3 use SMTP to send outgoing mail.
  • Using POP3 over SSL/TLS or IMAP over SSL/TLS provides increased security for your connections to the mail server.
