increases, Maui Jim responds with the release of four new styles. The
Palms, Hibiscus, Nunui and Maka go all out with smooth, sleek curves
and are perfect for those who demand high performance wrapped in
oversized high style. All four models are equipped with Maui Jim's
patented PolarizedPlus2® technology, which starts by vanquishing the
glare. The lenses feature 3 rare earth elements, maximizing
transmission of the colors your eyes see naturally. The multi-layered
lens design allows more usable light to be transmitted to the eyes. The
result is visual acuity, contrast and color that is unrivaled.
This
amazing technology is now available in frames that target consumers who
want high fashion sunglasses. The Palms and Hibiscus are both from the
Maui Jim Classic collection. These well-constructed frame fronts are
made from durable Grilamid, and the temples from Cellulose Propionate,
making them very lightweight, hypoallergenic, and available in a wide
range of colors and densities. Each contains ST (SuperThin) glass
lenses, which is 20% thinner and lighter than conventional laminated
glass lenses, giving customers superior optics, durability and scratch
resistance without the weight.
The Maka and Nunui are the latest
additions to the MJ Shields collection. The Maka's sporty frame
incorporates the finest Nickel/Silver metal alloy with Grilamid TR 90,
giving it extreme bending strength, toughness and lightness. The
Nunui's entire frame is constructed from Grilamid TR 90, and it
provides excellent coverage due to the extra wide temples and wrapped
structure of the frame. Both contain lightweight, impact resistant
Polycarbonate lenses, which are injection molded and optically correct
to ensure the crispest optics.
